We took 28 of our intensive dancers to perform at Disney World in Orlando, Florida! It was a four night trip including a backstage tour, two outdoor performances at Disney Springs and a private dessert party at the Epcot Illuminations Fireworks show!
The dancers participated in an exclusive Disney Dancin' workshop. Their instructor, Joy (of course that was her name =D), was a former Radio City Rockette, coach of Billy Elliot on Broadway, and a Disney performer for 20 years. The dancers got to learn one routine from their Lion King Live show @ Animal Kingdom and one routine from Disney's Hocus Pocus show Live, for it's 25th anniversary celebration. Each dancer received a number to wear on their leotards and were split into small groups for mock auditions. It taught them what it's like to be a Disney performer and how to go through an audition process. They then had a once in a lifetime experience of performing with Goofy! We all had a blast!
All the dancers did a wonderful job and everyone represented our studio with pride. A big thank you to all the ECDC families for making the experience absolutely unforgettable!
